Simon here, the founder of INTREK, a small Irish activewear brand designed and built in Galway, Ireland.

INTREK was founded in November 2024, born out of my love for sport, fitness, and high-quality activewear. I’ve always had a passion for movement - training, running, pushing myself, and starting an activewear brand just made sense to me.

I felt that Ireland was missing something personal in the activewear space. Something homegrown, something made by people who truly live and breathe the lifestyle. That’s how INTREK came to life, with one simple belief at its core:

Built from the Ground Up

Starting INTREK was far from easy. I invested every penny of my savings, working 12-hour shifts, seven days a week to make this dream a reality. Ordering over 100 pieces of each product was very expensive. There were countless late nights, setbacks, and moments of doubt - but giving up was never an option.

Every single piece of clothing has been designed from scratch in Galway after months of prep, testing, and refining. We launched with just eight products in the beginning, and each month, we’re adding new designs that we’re genuinely proud of.

What makes INTREK even more special is that it’s truly a family and community effort. Every order is packed by hand - by me and my brother, right here in Galway. Everyone involved in our launch - the models, photographers, designers, and friends gave their time, support, and belief to help bring INTREK to life. I’ll never forget that.
